Rates

In Southern California, the current rate for quality, private, music lessons is $50+ an hour. These rates fluctuate a little based on the teacher's experience and ability. Despite my experience and despite the fact my students learn quickly, I charge just $40/hour.

I recommend that all of my students have their own instrument. If you don't have one, I will recommend a local guitar store where you can purchase one at a discounted rate. Please bring an empty folder for songs, licks sheets, handouts, etc. and an 8 1/2" x 11" notepad for me to write what I teach you. You can always refer to this notepad to review what you were taught.
